I've totally fallen in love with the idea of using modules in my web design. I have my rollOver script, email & phone verification scripts and I have my welcome message script. All I need to do is copy and modify for my current situation. Today I've reused the rollover function for my navigation, which I believe is the simplest way to achieve this behavior. When I do it from Dreamweaver I get code galore. all I need is one line of javascript and off I go. I've used it above in the navigation and to the right, on what I call my magic hat. Above this paragraph you can see my headline is the welcome message, depending upon the time of day. I like this function, it is a friendly bit of code.
I created this website over a year ago in my Dreamweaver class. I did everything from Dreamweaver for the assignment. For this assignment I copied the entire site. I reworked the navigation to use my rollOver function and the side bar also. I reworked my CSS for this site and brought it up to the standard at which I am accustomed now. This in itself was a job but it was necessary for me to update the site to continue using it and for me to use it for this assignment. Our home page was to have a bulleted list, mine is actually located on the products and services page. Also found on the product and services page is the link to Success Stories. It is on this page that you will find my gallery of photos. This page will hold the images of materials that I've done for others. I have also included a navigation button for the success stories. I initially took it off, but I think it is important enough to have a navigation button of its own.
On my contact page you must click on the e-mail box to get the e-mail me form. As I stated earlier, I copied this site and reworked all the javascript and css. That was enough work for the whole week. I also tried to clean up the code. I hope I didn't miss anything. If you'd like to see the original code, you can view it at www.tamarawilhelm.com/Company_Site/index.html I like the color combination of cool hues and the logo I created also. Marketing Magic is actually my company that I incorporated when I was laid off a few years ago. I found that as a one person office that I could not be in all places at all times. If you can't be out selling you have nothing to produce, if you can't be in producing how will you complete the work that you've sold.
